胡正明老師在印第安那大學分別取得了運動管理碩士以及休閒行為博士 。畢業後便至南密蘇里州立大學 (Southeast Missouri State University) 任教，負責教授運動/休閒管理兩學門的課程。
胡老師長期關注美國運動管理教育，目前也是美國運動行銷學會以及北美運動管理學會的會員，對於美國運動管理課程設計以及各校特色有著深度的瞭解。胡老師每年也輔導以及推薦數名美國大學學生成功進入運動管理碩士班就讀。胡老師主要的專長教授科目是運動管理，運動行銷，賽會管理，休閒運動規劃，以及運動產業職涯輔導。
